The Palatine Hill is the place where Rome was founded and it boasts the remains of the Palaces of the Emperors. It is a green place with pine trees overlooking the Colossum and the Forum. The latter was the very downtown of the ancient Rome and nowadays it is still possibile to see the remains of the ancient temples, triumphal arches, institutional buildings and original roman roads.
The Ticket entrance to the Colosseum allows you to visit the whole area.
After lunch it will be the turn of the Baroque Rome, the very iconic heart of the Capital of Italy!
Except for the Pantheon, which is a majestic ancient pagan temple which has been standing in Rome downtown since 125 after Christ, the other roman highlights unveil the story of Rome throughout the 15, 16 and 17 hundreds through the elegance of the architecture and the names of the historical characters who influenced and inspired such great projects! In the Baroque Rome the glory of the ancient Imperial Rome and that of the Popes are perfectly interwined.
