In the more than a thousand years old land of the Etruscan kings, the abundant presence of many natural elements such as wood, stone, water and a varied range of plants has been inspiring a rich production of spirits with excellent flavours for more than one century.
Here a local family strives to preserve its past tradition and to let it be the very root of their present day company: the liqueur they made in the early 19 hundreds and offered to the clients of their “locanda” (a local little inn) has given birth to a worldwide famous distillery!
Their traditional decoction of herbs typical of the Etruscan lands, with digestive and refreshing properties, has become the flagship product of the liquor factory and it is accompanied by many other products, such as brandy, grappa, gin, bitters and spirits all made using the herbs from the family farm’s land.
This tour is the gateway to a unique experience! You’ll be welcomed in the Distillery and, after listening to a detailed explanation, you will taste four products (Brandy, Amaro, Grappa and Limoncello) which have been awarded many international prizes! Before the visit of the Distillery, you’ll have the pleasure to enjoy a guided stroll along the quaint lanes of the Medieval and Renaissance village of Tarquinia which, with its tall towers, romanesque churches and ancient houses will make you experience a throwback to the past of Italy and will pamper you with its intimate and relaxing atmosphere!
